I have had this sofa for about 10 years and recovered 2 times. The above pictures are before and after. The fabric was a muslin, but I couldn't wash it and it was sure ready to get a change somehow. So, I slipcovered it in a beautiful white matlasse. It is so soft and cushy. It was my first ever sofa slipcover. I thought it turned out beautiful. I am changing my entire den to white. It is so soothing and cool for the summer. I will be making pillows and slipcovers for other chairs in the room. Will update you later! Got to go lay down on the sofa! Ahhhhh!!!

Gina, did you use Jeanelle's DVD or did you wing it? I'm about to tackle my first sofa. Did you do a muslin first or start with the matelasse? Any tips?
