When I saw this fabric I immediately thought Hawaii, leis, palm trees and cool breezes! The chair was from a client that has a resale business. She found the chair on one of her excursions and just fell in love with it.
I had to hand sew batting on the seat and fix a few tears, but overall it was sturdy and it was so comfortable.
I had to put a zipper along the cording, see if you can spot it?

Happy Colors....bottom edge finished off with cording......
To finish things off, I suggested a knife edge on the pillow, and a zipper bottom closure.
The pillow trim had me thinking of grass skirts!
Matching pattern all the way..........
This chair makes me want to visit sunny beaches, if not Hawaii, then 5 minutes a way on my own local beach!
My client was so pleased and can't wait to sit in her Blue Hawaiian Slipper Chair in the cozy corner of her bedroom. Thank you Miss Gail.
