From Broken Leg...to Beautiful Chairs

If you were wondering and if you are still following....thank you for your patience......I broke my leg!!! Actually near the ankle, the fibula bone. It has been a long 13 weeks and I am about ready to get the last brace off hopefully next week.

Some of you have been praying and I appreciate that. Some of you are customers and you have been very patient....I appreciate that also.

I had no idea how much a broken bone could hurt. At the first part of the experience, it hurt to do anything, and I wondered if it would ever heal.  Thank goodness for time and healing.

I have started making slipcovers, cushions and pillows again.  I still have swelling and I must rest my leg...but I am getting better daily.

I wanted to show you a few things that I have been working on.  Some other projects that I completed before my leg break, are locked up in a laptop that crashed because of a virus. I hope that my brother can get them out for me. Someone was telling me about an external hard drive and how they aren't expensive. I will definitely be getting one of those!

Sooooo here goes!

I did some work for Linda at Thrill of the Hunt.  Linda loves to mix things up with her fabrics....she is very artistic and has an eye for some great pieces.
This chair was done in mixture of indoor fabric and outdoor fabric if that makes sense.  It started out as this....
Went to this look........
Or this look........
Which ever you prefer...or you can mix and match the look. Here is a view of the side of the chair.
I boxed the upper cushion.
Here is a view of the front arm, cording and pattern detail.....

Here is a view of the 2 matching chairs...sitting in Thrill of the Hunt.....waiting to be purchased by someone!

Look at all the beautiful things that surround these chairs!
More goodies in Thrill of the Hunt!
The colors in the store are so inspiring and I really want one of these beautiful paintings...drool!

Go by Thrill of the Hunt, and tell Linda I sent you. Thank you for being patient with me in my absence.  I love hearing from you and thank you for praying!
